Budding Musicians, Play On!

Want to play the guitar like Noel Gallagher? Or the piano like Jamie Cullum?
Well Now You Can! You just need to find the right instrument!

Musiqtrader.co.uk was launched recently, with a concept that is so simple, that it could prove to be vital to the future of the music buying and selling community.

Naimish Gohil, the London-based entrepreneur who set up the site, stated that his purpose was to "create an online service to help the 28 million Brits who want to play an instrument". A place in which to find and buy a musical instrument with minimal hassle, while at the same time allowing existing musicians and dealers of musical equipment to sell second hand or new instruments easily.

Why is it so simple? Well musicians can now find musical instruments advertised locally and nationally from other musicians and music shops! This will help budding musicians to find the instrument they want to play easily and at affordable prices. Hence buying and selling takes place between like-minded musicians and local music shops. In a nutshell, "It's a marketplace which is aimed solely for music lovers," says Gohil.

Gohil added "MusiqTrader isn't a Craigslist or Yell, but we're working towards being a household name for musicians, while at the same time striving to create an environment that will help those with a potential or proven passion for an instrument, to fulfill their dreams".

The site has around 10,000 visitors a month at present and that number is growing at a steady rate. The plan is to launch a dot com version and go multi-lingual by the end of the year.

After piloting in Essex, the site was launched to cover the whole of the UK by August 2006.

This is a small business with big ambitions. So go on, be a MusiqTrader and join the online music community.

Stringfellows Soho

£5 Million club to open June 1st 2006

He is the most famous nightclub owner in the world (well who else can you name?) The Sheffield steel worker’s son who built his dreams from the rubble of the Blitz to see his name up in lights on both sides of the Atlantic. He is Peter Stringfellow and he still reigns supreme. From booking the Beatles in 1962 for £65 to the 44 years since, throughout the USA and UK, providing millions of people with entertainment, it seems things are better than ever for Peter.

His latest venture, Stringfellow’s Soho, will officially open on June 1st 2006 and is positioned in the heart of Soho. With £5 Million invested in the club, this is one of the largest, most luxurious nightclubs to open in London in the last twenty odd years, with a fine dining restaurant, four bars on three floors, and, in addition, three giant gold statues upon entry. The décor is by Stephen Howie of Stephen Howie Design and Build. Peter says of Stephen Howie, “This guy is wonderfully talented and unique”, much better than the international designers he had previously considered, and whilst Peter took the executive design position, Stephen’s innovative ideas matched his own.

Peter is one of the most recognised celebrities of his generation and his clubs have seen every genre of celebrity attending from Princess Diana to Dame Shirley Bassey to Ginger Rogers and James Stewart, Jack Nicholson to Lemmy, Kid Rock, Colin Farell, George Best, Marvin Gaye, Andy Warhol to Stevie Wonder, Margaret Thatcher to Professor Stephen Hawking, Simon Cowell to Christian Slater - the list is endless.

In a year when many restaurants, theatres and clubs have to close he continues to trail blaze, Peter says “With the amount of champagne we sell we are in a position to rock France’s economy”. With Clubs in London established for 25 years, Paris and Dublin and New York possibly being a new venture, things couldn’t be better for brand Stringfellow.
